Updated Policies and Information (12/14/21)
As you likely know, yesterday the State announced that it will be reinstating a 2-Month Indoor Mask Mandate for all Californians, regardless of vaccination status, from December 15th, 2021 – February 15th, 2022. While we know this isn’t the most fun news, we are being optimistic & we appreciate everyone’s patience, adaptability, and compliance in keeping our entire community safe & healthy. We’ve been through this before, and are so grateful to have such a loving and kind community to push through with again! With that, please read our newly reinforced mask policy below to learn about how this will affect In-Person Studio Classes at PLAY:
• All PLAY Students, Staff, and Patrons must be wearing a mask upon entering the studio.
• Masks must be worn in all common areas of the studio, including the lobby before and after class.
• Once Students and Staff are distanced on their mat and ready to practice, masks may be removed for the duration of the class (while it is recommended to be worn throughout).
• We will be temporarily pausing Instructor Hands-On Adjustments in all classes to promote social distancing during the mask mandate.
• Once the class has ended, masks must be worn to return props and exit the studio.
Again, we sincerely appreciate everyone’s understanding, positivity, and support while we all practice safely through this next month together.
With So Much Gratitude,
The PLAY Family
PLAY Wellness is now offering limited walk-in spots for all heated classes beginning 5/12/2021
What does that mean for you?
Online registration is still preferred, as well as utilizing the waitlist feature. Both of these modalities secure your spot in class providing you peace of mind that a space for you and your mat is waiting for you. Please note that if you are bumped into class from the waitlist, to secure your spot, you MUST confirm via text or email. If you do not receive an email two hours before class starts, notifying you that you have been bumped into class, you may still arrive 15 mins prior to the start of class as a walk-in client. Walk-in spots are given on a first come first serve basis and are not guaranteed.
Thanks for your continued support, we look forward to seeing you on the mat!
Everyone’s health and safety is our top priority. Below are the new policies for Online Registration that will be put in place, which go beyond mandated state and local requirements. We appreciate your patience and support as we roll out our new studio protocols!
Questions Before Entering: All students will be asked the following questions before entering the studio:
1. Do you currently have a fever (Temp > 100 degrees F)? Have you had a fever within the past 24 hours? Do you feel like you have a fever?
2. Do you have any signs or symptoms of a new respiratory illness, such as cough, shortness of breath, or fatigue with muscle aches?

Late-Cancellation and No-Show Policy: You can cancel your class online or from your app up to 2 hours before class to avoid losing the class or being charged a Late-Cancellation or No-Show fee. A No-Show fee occurs when you are signed up for a class and, you guessed it, do not show up or cancel beforehand. The No-Show fee is $10. Any class cards or single class passes will be forfeited if you do not cancel prior to 2 hours before the start of class. Additionally, you will be charged the appropriate fees. We donate all proceeds from the Late-Cancellation and No-Show fees to our charity of the month. Sorry, no exceptions.

Extended Package Expiration Dates: All packages have been extended by the 3 months the studio was closed.

LIVESTREAM classes are included in our unlimited membership packages. They can also be purchased as a drop-in, 8 class pass or through our LIVESTREAM unlimited membership pass.
FAQs with Peace Love and Yoga
As things continue to open up, I know many of you are wondering how your yoga experience will change. Because we’ve chosen to not verify vaccination status, our current mask policy will stay. We will be discontinuing the health screening questions, but ask that if you experience any cold/flu-like symptoms (even allergies) to please stay home. We will be continuing temperature checks through the month of June.
Please check the class schedule and take note of classes being Live Stream or In-Studio. All in-person classes are open for booking seven days in advance.

Will PLAY offer a contact-free experience?
Teachers only use verbal assists in class. You will bring your own mat, and towel as mat and towel rentals are on hold for the time being.
How will PLAY clean the studio?
We stringently sanitize all studio surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants. Our team thoroughly disinfects all doorknobs and light switches between every class. When the studio is closed, we have daily cleaners working to keep the community areas and studios clean. Additionally, a cleaning crew is brought in weekly to deep clean the entirety of the studio.
How will PLAY enforce distance inside the studios? All classes must be reserved in advance to limit studio and class capacity, there are no walk-ins at this time. Mat markers will be placed inside the practice studios to guide your mat placement and ensure at least 6 1/2 feet of space between you and your fellow yogis.
Will students be required to practice in face masks? No. Face masks are required before and after class for everyone inside the studio. Please arrive and leave wearing your mask. Once at your designated mat space, inside the studio, your mask can be removed.
Will you limit class sizes? Yes, class capacity will be limited and mat markers will be in place to ensure students have the recommended 6 feet of space on all sides of your mat. Please be prepared to bring your own mat and towel.
Will you contact me if someone with COVID-19 was in the studio? If we become aware of a reported case of COVID-19 in the studio and you had potential contact with the individual, we will notify you within 24 hours. In addition, we will take all safety precautions to deep clean and disinfect the studio before reopening for classes.
Do I need a reservation? Yes, you’ll need to reserve your spot from the schedule before coming to class. You can use the PLAY website (www.peaceloveandyoga.com) or the Peace Love and Yoga Studio App. No walk-ins are allowed at this time.
When should I make a reservation? You can book up to 7 days out on the schedule. You can make a reservation for up to 2 hours before class starts.
How do I make a class reservation? To reserve a class, visit the schedule on our website or PLAY app. Sign in to your account. If this is your first time signing in, create your account using the same email address you used on your first studio visit. Make sure you’re opted in to receive email and text updates for your reservation.
What is your cancellation policy? To open up space for your fellow yogis, we require that you cancel 2 hours or more before class starts, no exceptions. A $10 late cancel fee and $10 no show fee will be charged to your credit card on file. Reservations made within 2 hours of the scheduled start of class cannot be canceled without incurring a late cancel/no show fee/loss of class.
How do I cancel or confirm my reservation? When confirming a reservation from a waitlist, please either reply to the text or email notification that you received to notify you of your spot. To cancel a reservation, please log in to your PLAY app, or your account on our website and click cancel next to your reservation.
Is there a waitlist? Yes, when a class is full, we can hold 5 spots on the waitlist. If you are moved from the waitlist into class, you will receive an email or text confirming your reservation. Make sure you’re opted in to receive email and text updates for your reservation. If you have not received an email or text confirming a change in status from waitlist to having a reservation, you may not attend the class.
Why can’t I make a reservation on the website or APP? If you do not see a sign-up button next to the scheduled class time, that means both the waitlist and class are full.
