FAQs

What’s included? 
This retreat is all inclusive! Lodging, food, yoga and excursions are all included from arrival day on 3/20 through departure on 3/24. 

What’s not included? 
Transportation to and from the retreat location in Joshua Tree on arrival and departure day is not included. We are also not including any alcohol on this retreat. If you would like to book any private sessions with either Jess or Mo, those will be in addition to the retreat price. 

Which airport do I fly into?
If you are flying into the area, Palm Springs International Airport is the closest. San Diego and LAX are also nearby, but are about a 2-3 hour drive from the airport. 

What time is check in and check out? 
Check in is at any time after 4 pm PST.  Please try to plan travel accordingly.  Check out will be 10:30 am PST on Monday.

Do the rooms have heat and air conditioning? 
Yes, all rooms have heat and air conditioning. 

Are there safes in the rooms? 
No, there are no safes in the rooms. We will be the only ones on the property, but please limit the valuables you bring to the retreat. 

Is there internet access?
Yes, there is internet access on site.

Is there free time? 
Yes! There will be free time scheduled each day. Most days it will be in the middle of the day. 

Is full participation required all day/everyday?
No. You may participate in as much or as little as you like. Although our intention is to have community be an element of this experience, we highly encourage you to join us for all the things! 

Is there a contact number?
Yes. Before arrival day, you will receive both Jess and Monique’s cell phone numbers. 

Will the retreat be serving alcohol? 
The focus of the retreat is on cleansing, so we will not be serving alcohol. You are welcome to bring your own if you choose.    

Are there spa treatments available? 
There is not a spa onsite, but we will be offering Kambo treatments with Monique and Yoga Therapy sessions with Jess on day 4. Individual sessions will be limited, we will reach out to the retreat group with more information and pricing for these offerings. 

Are children welcome on the retreat?
This retreat is adults only. Please stay on our email list for future offerings that may include family options! 

What is the weather like?
The weather in March in Joshua Tree is low 70’s during the day, and can get in the 40’s at night. Please pack layers and good hiking shoes for our Joshua Tree hiking day. 

What if I get sick and need a doctor?  
There is Hi-Desert Medical Center nearby which is a full hospital and ER.

What type of food will you be serving?
We have a private chef preparing our meals sourcing organic/grass fed meats, wild caught fish, and preparing these foods with mindfulness and gratitude. All food will be focused on nourishment, and will be gluten and refined sugar free. We will have vegetarian options for all meals and will have anything containing dairy on the side. 

Will dietary restrictions be accommodated? 
While we will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, we cannot guarantee food will be free from cross contamination. 

Can I bring my own food?
You are more than welcome to bring your own snacks and any of your favorite things to make your stay more enjoyable. If you are interested in bringing your own meals, let’s connect further to be sure we can accommodate spacing for that. 

How close is downtown Joshua Tree from the retreat venue?
We will be staying about 20 min by car from downtown Joshua Tree. 

What do I need? What do I bring?
Please plan to bring your own mat, refillable water bottle, layers, backpack and any further needs will be discussed before arrival.
