Lauren fell into meditation in 2015 after losing two close friends to suicide. Meditation was a great coping mechanism and quickly became her deepest passion. After years of meditation, she tried yoga and was quickly hooked on the deep and intentional movement. Since then, she has completed many formal courses in meditation and yoga and holds her 200 RYT.
As an elementary school teacher, she naturally wanted to share mental and physical health benefits of yoga with children. She sought out training through Mindful Schools and Next Generation Yoga. She has 4 years of experience teaching yoga to children in Encinitas elementary schools. Lauren’s classes combine fun, joy and yoga in a child appropriate way. She loves seeing students get excited about savasana and find postures that they love.
